May 20, 2013 - Sebesta Blomberg Awarded Roswell Park Cancer Institute Clinical Sciences Center Project 
Sebesta Blomberg has been awarded a 3-year indefinite delivery/indefinite quanity contract for engineering services for the Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s (RPCI) new Clinical Sciences Center contruction and renovation. The new 11-story building, located in Buffalo, New York, will mark the first new construction at Roswell Park since 2007 and first clinical expansion since 1998.

Sebesta Blomberg, a national engineering and consulting firm, ranked 334 on the Engineering-News Record (ENR) 2013 Top 500 Design Firms list. ENR’s Top 500 Design Firms list is an annual ranking of the largest U.S.-based design and construction firms.  
 
April 23, 2013 - University of Massachusetts Power Plant Receives CMAA Award 
The Construction Management Association of America, New England Chapter, announced that the University of Massachusetts Power Plant Expansion Project has been selected to receive a Project Achievement Award.   
 
April 22, 2013 - 300 North LaSalle Earns LEED Platinum Certification 
Sebesta Blomberg congratulates Hines, our long-term international real estate client and partner, for earning LEED Platinum Certification at 300 North LaSalle in Chicago. Platinum certification is the highest rating under the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Existing Buildings (EB) category. Previously, the tower received Gold certification under the LEED for Core & Shell (CS) Rating System.   
 
March 15, 2013 - Sebesta Blomberg Completes Pro-Bono Services for Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps 
Sebesta Blomberg, an engineering consulting firm, recently completed pro-bono facility condition assessments for the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps. The services were provided for a facility and school in Lancaster, Massachusetts.

July 16, 2012 - Hartsfield-Jackson Orchestrates Activation of New International Terminal 
Knowing that systems commissioning goes hand-in-hand with terminal activations, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport hired a separate contractor for commissioning services during the design and planning of its new international terminal. Sebesta Blomberg provided the services as a subcontractor to Atlanta Gateway Designers.

May 15, 2012 - Sebesta Blomberg Announces Director of Building Envelope Commissioning Services 
Sebesta Blomberg, an engineering consulting firm, has announced the recent hire of George Houk as the Director of Building Envelope Commissioning Services for the company. In this new role, he will lead the company’s development of capabilities to provide building envelope commissioning. Houk will collaborate with the company’s internal technical team to better position the company to take advantage of this rapidly growing area in the industry. He will reside in the company’s Washington, DC office, supporting the company’s building envelope commissioning services nationwide. 
 
May 8, 2012 - Sebesta Blomberg Converts Organic Waste to Energy 
Sebesta Blomberg joined the Massachusetts initiative to convert organic waste to energy and provided engineering services to support the installation of an anaerobic digester (AD) at Jordan Farm. Sebesta Blomberg helped ensure that the AD systems were properly installed and operational.  Projects like this are helping the USDA and U.S. dairy producers meet their commitment of a 25 percent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2020.

April 24, 2012 - Taunton Trial Court Received Award of Excellence Merit 
The Taunton Trial Court received an Award of Excellence Merit from the 2012 AIA/AAJ Justice Facilities Review Awards Program and Publication. Sebesta Blomberg was the Commissioning agent and provided LEED administration services, commissioned the security systems including access control, CCTV, GAP system, and remote cell door operation, in addition to the MEP. 
 
April 11, 2012 - Sebesta Blomberg Receives Arlington Green Games Award 
Arlington County, Virginia celebrated the accomplishments of its Inaugural Green Games competition for the commercial office sector. More than 100 buildings and offices, representing roughly 15 million square feet – or one third – of Arlington’s office space competed in a race to reduce waste, energy and water use, and set other environmental goals. 
 
March 12, 2012 - Sebesta Blomberg Announces Commissioning Manager 
Sebesta Blomberg has announced that Kevin Barnett, LEED AP, CxA has joined its team as commissioning manager. In this role, he will be responsible for managing the business development, sales and operations for the greater Philadelphia area office.

Sebesta Blomberg, an engineering consulting firm, announced it’s St. Paul office has been Certified by the National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) in Building Systems Commissioning and Air and Hydronic Testing and Balancing.
